La Prof. Maria Grazia Perrone del Dipartimento di Farmacia – Scienze del Farmaco - Università degli Studi di Bari “Aldo Moro” ha ricevuto un finanziamento dalla Associazione per svolgere una ricerca dal titolo “Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma in Children (DIPG_C): a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge, from Gene Expression Profile to Drug”.

The project “Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma in Children (DIPG_C): a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge, from Gene Expression Profile to Drug”, led by Professor Maria Grazia Perrone of the Department od Pharmacological Sciences at the “Aldo Moro” University of Bari (Italy), aims at discovering new drugs for the treatment of the diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma of children, a tumor for which there is currently no effective cure. The two-year project is supported by the Associazione Mia Neri Foundation with a grant of 50,000 Euros.
The scholarship holder Dr. Davide Derri participates in the project.
